In light of the horrific events that have taken place in Japan over the past few weeks, Tory Burch, famed fashion designer and CEO of Tory Burch LLC, has teamed up with online fashion group Ruelala to produce her 'japan relief t-shirt'.
“Our hearts are breaking for our family, friends and the millions in Japan and around the world affected by this devastating disaster,” Burch (pictured above at left) said.“We want to do whatever we can to help this strong, resilient country.”*
The tee is priced at $29 and 100 percent of the proceeds (through September 15, 2011) will go straight to the American Red Cross to help alleviate some of their tsunami relief effort needs. What a great way to give back, and do so in style.
